Sarissa GmbH was represented at Motek 2018 in Stuttgart with a special eyecatcher - an original BMW M4 axle. From October 8 to 11, 2018, the Sarissa team demonstrated the assistance and position recognition system Local Positioning System (LPS) to an interested audience, using the axle as a demostration example.

Based on the axle, Sarissa GmbH showed how the Local Positioning System can be used to identify and localize hand-held tools such as screwdrivers and torque wrenches within millimeter-precision. The treatment of different screw holes on the axle is easily possible with the LPS, even in the most diverse positions. The ultrasonic transmitter can be mounted on almost any tool of any manufacturer.
